Vacations

In November we went to Raiders football game in Minneapolis, with Angie, Tim & Janie and Kane & Carin. It was a lot of fun other than the Raiders lost. We met up with some old friends Jenn & Brent Arndt and Sara & Brad Laning. Both couples are expecting their first child so that was exciting, to see them.

Then in September for the first time in the 10 years we have been together Aaron and I took a trip by ourselves, we went to a Twins game. We had a lot of fun, I think we were both surprised that we did not fight at all that weekend. It was a very educational trip neither of us had ever been to Minneapolis before. We did rather well reading maps and trusting one another with the directions.

Siblings

Aaron is an only child, and Beth has only one brother (Kirk). Kirk was recently married to Shana Sandau. We are hoping for a niece or nephew so Carter will have a cousin!

Carter and Janie were ring bearer and flower girl in the wedding!

All of the Vollmuth's except for Uncle Pat were able to make it to the wedding!

Where We Live!!

We live in Stanton, ND. It is a small town of 300 people. It is located right on the Knife River and Missouri River. We are also about 20 minutes from Lake Sakakawea, where we spend a lot of our summer weekends. Both of our parents live here, so that is really great for Carter, he gets to spend a lot of time with all of his grandparents. Check out what our small town has to offer http://stantonnd.com/

Employment

Aaron, is a Lab Tech at Antelope Valley Station in Beulah, ND. He is employed by Basin Electric Power Cooperative. He has worked there for 5 years.

Beth works for Mercer County in Stanton, North Dakota. She is the Deputy Treasurer, the job has been very challenging and a lot of fun. The previous Treasurer and deputy treasurer retired at the same time so we are learning together.
